Quietly documenting real beginnings

Baby-led newborn photography, nestled in the Cheshire countryside.

Welcome to your newest chapter.

Hidden away on a working farm in Dunham, Little River Studio is a place to escape the busyness of everyday life and soak up these precious early days with your little one.

Natural light in Little River's newborn photography studio with a bamboo crib and neutral styling.

Every session is completely baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and comfort breaks whenever they're needed. Whether your little one sleeps peacefully or is beginning to share those first smiles, we'll take everything at their pace while I quietly document this special chapter.

Come on in…

Everything has been thoughtfully prepared, so you can simply enjoy the moment.

A ceramic mug with a greenish glaze on top and a cream-colored base, placed on a wooden surface in a cozy room with wicker furniture and neutral decor.

There's no rush, no pressure and no expectation. Rather than a timed slot, your morning is yours, giving us the freedom to follow your baby's lead from beginning to end.

Everything at their pace

A woven basket with a knitted cream-colored blanket draped over it, positioned on a wooden floor against a plain wall. To the left, there is a white ceramic vase on a small wooden stand, with some dried branches inside.

Every pose is guided by your baby's comfort, using soft knitted textures, cosy wraps and gentle positioning that always feels natural.

Comfort comes first

Kind Words

  • 'The whole session felt incredibly relaxed and there was never any pressure to settle the baby quickly. Bex was amazing with the children and made us feel so comfortable throughout. The photos are absolutely beautiful and capture the special newborn stage, memories we'll treasure forever.'

    — Lucy (Wigan)

  • 'The shoot was such a lovely afternoon, it didn't feel awkward or forced in any way, quite the opposite.. Becky put us at ease and we had a giggle. You can feel how much this means to Becky and how much she cares, she really makes you feel safe, seen and understood.'

    — Lucy (Rossendale)

Portrait of Becky, the photographer behind Little River Photography, holding a camera.

Hello,

I’m Becky

Mum to two little ones, photographer, horse lover and the face behind Little River.

Before photography, I spent years working in fast-paced Product Management roles, constantly juggling deadlines, meetings and the never-ending pressure of corporate life. If you'd told me ten years ago I'd be photographing tiny babies for a living, I don't think I'd have believed you.

These days, life looks very different. If I'm not in the studio, you'll usually find me exploring the countryside with my old horse, Thomas, pottering in the garden, or trying to keep two little ones entertained.

I'm happiest when life is a little slower, a little quieter and spent outdoors.

Now let's tell your story.

I'd be honoured to capture this special chapter in a way that feels relaxed, personal and completely centred around your little one.
