Portrait of Becky, photographer and founder of Little River Photography.

Hey, I’m Becky…

Mum to two little ones, photographer, horse lover and the face behind Little River.

Before photography, I spent years working in fast-paced Product Management roles, constantly juggling deadlines, meetings and the never-ending pressure of corporate life. If you'd told me ten years ago I'd be photographing tiny babies for a living, I don't think I'd have believed you.

These days, life looks very different. If I'm not in the studio, you'll usually find me exploring the countryside with my old horse, Thomas, pottering in the garden, or trying to keep two little ones entertained.

I'm happiest when life is a little slower, a little quieter and spent outdoors.

When my youngest son, Sidney, was born, our family faced a difficult start. Those first few days looked very different to what we'd imagined, and we spent time at Liverpool Women's Hospital while he received specialist care.

It was an experience that changed me completely. It reminded me how precious those first days really are and how quickly they can pass, even when they don't begin the way you'd hoped. It also gave me the courage to step away from a career that no longer felt right and build something with purpose.

Little River was born from that experience. It's a place where parents can slow down, celebrate their little one exactly as they are and preserve the memories of these early days—whatever their journey to get here has looked like.

Where it all began…

Because every beginning deserves the very best start.

Little River is my way of saying thank you to the incredible team at Liverpool Women's Hospital. £6 from every session is donated to the Liverpool Women's Hospital Charity, representing the first six hours after birth—a window of time that can make all the difference for babies needing specialist care.

It's a small gesture, but one that's deeply personal to our family, and a way of helping support other families at the very beginning of their own journey.

Giving back
